BNP Paribas

Our collaboration with BNP Paribas dates back to 2013. In 2018, BNP Paribas introduced a new standard for branches and customer service in the form of digital branches – modern, fully automated, cashless facilities focused on customer needs and service quality. The solutions implemented by the bank aimed to underscore their ESG-oriented strategy and emphasize that BNP Paribas is not only a modern institution but also one that is open and environmentally friendly. The visual reflection of these changes primarily revolved around a subdued colour palette inspired by nature, predominantly featuring shades of green, in line with the motto “Bank of Green Changes.” Elements of trees, such as wood as a finishing material and leaf motifs, were employed throughout every branch, embodying the essence of this transformation.

Prior to commencing production, it was necessary to refine the technological aspects of the designs and conduct meticulous measurements of the space that was currently being arranged. Given the tight schedules for renovation work and the immovable opening dates for each branch, the entire process of delivering and assembling furniture within the premises had to be tightly controlled and coordinated with other contractors. Managing the successive stages of implementation, from measurements and production to delivery and installation, posed a significant challenge for our team, not least because in the early years of the new concept’s introduction we delivered furniture to around 10-12 outlets per month. Thanks to the experience gained from previous similar projects, our team rose to the occasion and met expectations seamlessly in terms of progress, organization, and the final outcome.

Another challenge set before our team was the technical development of the central design element in each branch – the technology tree available in various configurations and heights while maintaining visual consistency. For this intricate aspect of the project, a proprietary and versatile solution was devised. This innovation allowed for the seamless installation of the technology tree in any branch, regardless of the room’s height.

It is worth emphasizing that, since the beginning of the implementation, we have remained flexible and constantly ready to change and improve our products, according to the customer’s suggestions and needs. After the first few months of the branches operating under the new business model, a need arose to introduce modifications to the design of certain furniture pieces, ensuring their coherence within the overall concept. We proposed several enhanced versions, ultimately implementing the Bank’s chosen variant into production.

We are equally open to participating in pilot projects and are keen to collaborate with the Bank in the development of brand new solution concepts, drawing upon our acquired expertise and suggesting innovative material applications. The design process entails visualization, technical documentation preparation, prototyping, and subsequent implementation into production if the proposed solution proves effective in practice.
As part of this creative process, a fully eco-friendly coffee stand was developed in the form of a built-in coffee cabinet with an extension made from recycled yoghurt cups to house an integrated expresso machine. This station also provides access to purified
tap water, reducing plastic packaging consumption, and features waste sorting bins, aligning perfectly with eco-friendly principles.
Another interesting example of our proprietary solution is the leaf-shaped wall panels that not only decorate but also have a significant impact on improving the acoustics of the meeting rooms.

Focusing on the customer’s needs and meeting all their requirements has paved the way for a strong and enduring relationship between Euronova as a furniture manufacturer and the Bank as our valued client. Euronova remains poised to continue this collaboration by designing and implementing further solutions, even in rapidly evolving circumstances. We hold true to our ethos of not only prioritizing the client’s needs and aspirations but also consistently enhancing the quality of the services we provide.
Taking care to maintain good relations, we extend a comprehensive post-sales support as part of each project, offering ongoing assistance and guidance to our clients. While the projects undertaken for BNP Paribas demanded the full engagement of our entire team, the sense of accomplishment derived from these endeavours is commensurate with the concerted effort invested.
